About Me

I am a Johannesburg-based visual artist and educator with an extensive background in both theological studies and visual arts. I completed a BA in Theology at the University of Johannesburg followed by a Diploma in Visual Arts. Over the course of my 20-year career in the advertising industry, I developed a deep understanding of visual communication.

Subsequently, I relocated to Asia, where I focused on exploring the intersection of human narratives and their environments through portrait photography, particularly in Beijing and Hanoi.

Currently, I serve as a Visual Arts teacher at a high school in South Africa. My professional journey has afforded me the opportunity to convey compelling stories through both pedagogical practice and visual artistry. I invite you to view some of my selected images or share your own narratives by submitting your details here.
